The project owner might receive several competitive bids for their project.
- Qualifying member contractors from our database receive lead notification via e-mail, detailing project requirements. The contactor has the option to pursue the lead by openly communicating with the project owner via e-mail or phone and placing a bid on the project.
- Once the project owner receives bids from the contractors and service professionals, it has the option to connect with the contractor, if interested. A project owner has full access to profile and reference pages of the various contractor members and may be guided by information on the service professionals or the contracting firm (insurance, experience, skills, language capabilities, work history, and portfolio of completed projects) in deciding which service professional to work with.
Project owners maintain full control of the screening process of each renovation contractor candidate. They are under no obligation to hire any of the contractors who have bid on their project.
The project owner has the ability to control the entire screening process of contractors; who they contact, how contact is made, whether or not to conduct an interview, and whether or not they wish to hire a contractor.
