MyCanadianContractors.com iPod Nano Giveaway
To enter and qualify, starting at 1:00 am EST on October 27, 2010, until 1:00 am EST on December 10, 2010, go to http://www.mycanadiancontractors.com/blog/ipod-nano-giveaway/, confirm compliance with the contest rules and then comment on the post to enter the draw. You must correctly answer a skill-testing question to win.
No purchase necessary. Limit two submitted entries per back-link to our site. Participants who manage multiple websites or blogs may enter the contest two times per website.
ELIGIBILITY:
The sponsor of this promotion is Intact Marketing Inc. (the “Sponsor”). This contest is open to all residents of Canada and USA who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry, or 13 years of age and older with parental consent. Entrants must not be an employee of, a member of the immediate family and/or persons domiciled with an employee of MyCanadianContractors.com or any of their advertising and promotional agencies.
Contest closes December 10, 2010.
THE PRIZE:
There will be one (1) prize awarded. The winner will be chosen by random draw. Each prize will consist of one (1) iPod Nano valued at $149. Prize must be accepted as awarded and is not transferable or refundable. The sponsors reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal value in the event that the prize described is unavailable due to circumstances beyond their control.
Prize will be awarded by random draw from amongst all eligible entries received via the Internet by the contest closing date. The draw will be held in Milton, Ontario at 10:00 am EST on December 11, 2010. The winners must complete and return a declaration of release form, including correctly answering the mathematical skill-testing question within, by December 22, 2010 or an alternate winner will be selected. Winners will receive the aforementioned prize within 30 days of receipt of the duly filled declaration of release form.
Odds of Winning: Based on the total number of valid entries to the contest.
No correspondence pertaining to this contest will be entered into except with the potential winners. The sponsor accepts no liability for printing errors on material distributed for this contest.
By entering the contest, entrants (and/or their parent or legal guardian) agree to abide by the contest rules and all decisions of the Sponsor, which are final. Prize will be awarded and delivered to the confirmed winner by the handling house. The winner (and/or their parent or legal guardian) agrees to authorize Sponsor to announce and publish their name, address (city only) and photograph in any forthcoming publicity in connection with this promotion without further remuneration. Potential winner (and/or their parent or legal guardian) will be required to release MyCanadianContractors.com, and their agencies and representatives from liability with respect to the contest and the prize. Failure on the part of a selected entrant (and/or their parent or legal guardian) to return the affidavit by the deadline as posted on the release form may result in disqualification of that person and an alternate winner will be selected from among all remaining eligible entries.
ENTRIES:
All entries become the property of MyCanadianContractors.com, which assumes no responsibility for incomplete, lost, late, damaged, illegible or misdirected entries or emails, nor for technical, hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connection, or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions which may limit a user’s ability to participate. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this promotion should a virus, bug, computer problem, unauthorized human intervention or other cause beyond sponsor’s control, corrupt the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the contest. In the event of early termination of the contest, a notice will be posted on-line and a random drawing to award all prizes will be conducted from among all eligible entries received prior to the time of termination. Sponsor reserves the right to modify the contest or disqualify entrant if fraud, misconduct or technical failures destroy the integrity of the contest as determined by the sponsor, in its sole discretion. In the event of a dispute regarding any entry, the entry will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry (i.e. the person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domains associated with the submitted email address.
Contest is subject to all applicable Federal, Provincial, Municipal and local laws and regulations.
RELEASE AND INDEMNIFICATION: By entering the contest, each entrant releases and holds harmless the Sponsor, the independent contest organization, prize suppliers, their respective agents, representatives and associated companies, and all of their respective directors, officers and employees from any and all liability for injuries, loss or damage of any kind whatsoever, including without limitation, personal injury, death or property damage resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize, participation in this contest, or participation in any prize related activity and agrees to fully indemnify the Sponsor, prize suppliers, their respective agents, representatives and associated companies, and all of their respective directors, officers and employees from claims by third parties without limitation.
RELEASE: Before being declared a winner, the selected entrant will be required to sign one or more declarations, indemnity and release forms in a manner acceptable to the Sponsor, confirming compliance with the contest rules and acceptance of a prize as awarded and indemnifying and releasing the Sponsor, the independent contest organization, prize suppliers, their respective agents, representatives and associated companies, and all of their respective directors, officers and employees from all liability of any kind in connection with this contest or occurring as a result of the Grand Prize being awarded.
